Come and liaise with fellow Governor Chairs and Vice Chairs at neighbouring schools.

We find that facilitating events where governors can also talk with each other to share best practice, consult on problematic issues, or even buddy together, is just as valuable to school governors.

​

 

One of the founding principles of WGSP is for our schools to work together, sharing expertise and knowledge to improve standards for the children in our partnerships. This is done well with the staff in our schools and we have established the WGSP Chairs’ Network to look at the ways in which our Governing Bodies can work together, sharing ideas and expertise.
